PRIVACY POLICY

Personal data processing notice — pursuant to Articles 13-14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

This page explains, in plain terms, what data we collect when you visit the site or send us a request, why we do so, and what rights you have.

1. Who processes your data

The data controller is Daniele Pizzi, Tax Code PZZDNL83R19C751F, based in Ruoni Alta, 07028 Santa Teresa Gallura OT. For any question about your data, you can write to info@villasuramonte.it.

2. What data we collect

  • Data you give us. When you fill in the request form or write to us by e-mail or WhatsApp: your name, e-mail, optional phone number, stay dates, number of guests and whatever you include in your message.
  • Data collected automatically. Like any website, our hosting provider records some technical data (IP address, browser type, date and time of access) in log files, to run the site and keep it secure.
  • Cookies. We use technical cookies only, needed for the site to work. Details are in the Cookie Policy.

3. Why we process it

We do not use your data for marketing or profiling.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your request data for as long as needed to handle it and, if you book, for the duration of the stay and related obligations. After that, we keep it only if and for as long as the law requires (e.g. tax or accommodation obligations).

5. Who may receive it

Your data is not disclosed publicly. It may be processed, only on our behalf and on our instructions, by the providers that help us run the site and handle requests (Art. 28 GDPR): the hosting provider Aruba and the e-mail sending service. 

6. Cookies and third-party services

  • Technical cookies only: no profiling cookies, no analytics tools.
  • Google Maps: the map loads only if you choose to activate it; at that point Google may process some data under its own notice.
 

7. Transfers outside the European Union

If you activate the Google map, some data may be processed by companies based outside the EU (Meta, Google). These transfers take place in compliance with the safeguards under Articles 44 ff. GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

8. Your rights

At any time you can ask us to accesscorrecteraserestrict or object to the processing of your data, or ask for its portability, by writing to info@villasuramonte.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante, www.garanteprivacy.it) if you believe the processing is not lawful.

9. If you don’t provide the data

Providing the form data is voluntary. But without the fields marked as required (name, e-mail, dates, number of guests) we cannot respond to your request.

10. Updates

We may update this notice over time. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
